Since April 02 2000 Digimon series 02 has been aired in Japan. All the originals are back from season 1. Each Digi Destined in the 4 years older and their digimon are out of it. Angemon and Angewomon are still able to DigiVolve and they and their human counter parts join the new chosen Digi-Destined after the digital world is attacked by Digimon Emporer (possibly a human).
