Ozone Depletion

The ozone layer is like a protective coating that surrounds the earth. It is a blanket of the chemical ozone that surrounds the earth and filters out harmful UV rays from the sun. Unfortunately, the ozone layer is being depleted by harmful manmade chemicals like chluoro-fluoro-carbons (or cfcs) from aerosol cans.
