"In my opinion, if the Japanese had been a little more brazen, and had the materials, they could have successfully invaded the United States.Instead of invading to the south into Indonesia, they could have pooled their resources, and attacked Pearl Harbor, took Midway, and landed on the West Coast.The U.S. Army and Navy was weak at the time.The Japanese could have sent a small task force, aided by the Imperial Air Forces could have swept across Indonesia and took key postions to fuel their War Machine and take care of the Southwesten Pacifc fleets.All-the-while, Japanese Army and Naval Units could land, take key places in the Rockies, take oil fields in Texas and draw a battle line up and down the chain of the Rockies.Now, of course, there are several key factors that have to be taken into consideration.
