In this new year that is coming
before it rings the last cheer in
I remember you my friend
and all that you have been.




Even though it's hard to picture
a face I've never seen on here
I remember what we've shared
throughout the former year.




As I bid farewell to last year
I will not say goodbye to you
but hold our friendship even more dear
for it's treasured, tried and true.




If some sadness we may feel,
over loss of passing time,
we can be renewed by knowing
there's more joy, to come, online.




May the New Year bring for you
happiness and good health too
