HONEYMOON IN PHUKET

Our honeymoon was an experience and a half! In 8 days we managed to become very ill, tour the island, sample local poduce, mix in with the locals, go on an elephant tour in mainland Thailand, see a Chinese Vegetarian festival take place and have photos taken with some tigers!

The most amazing thing about Phuket is the people there. they would have to be the most friendly culture I have ever known. They are very polite and courteous no matter what the situation. The photo of the monk was taken only with brad as the monks will not touch or go near a woman or they have to go through a purification ritual afterwards. We used Tuk-tuks to get around the island but you can drive if you wish....I wouldn't recommend it though as most Thai locals don't follow road rules. All up Phuket was a wonderful and exciting place to visit and experience.
