Let's Party! Last June I signed up for this site, which immediatly became Gemma's Place and has been growing since. I thought that we might as well enjoy remembering this wonderful event, so I created this 'party' with the recollection of the first year, dances, a missing present, and and plenty of food. Have fun in this cyberspace party!
History
Sunday the 28th of June is the date when I officially signed up for my homepage. There wasn't time to start it that day, but the next day I got my stone background from IconBazaar plus some pictures including the little hippo (shown below). The other pictures were the rainbow bar which is still on my index page, and an under construction sign. My page had no title picture and the font was plain. Slowly over the days my knowledge has increased, my list of pages grew, and before I knew it, it's been a whole year! I've had lots of fun, and thanks for all your support. Please continue to give it, and I'll continue having fun!
Here is my first picture the hippo:
Let's Dance! Do you know the macarena? This dance is fun, and definitely worth a go! The little yellow guy above is doing the macarena, though he's going a bit fast!
The Table of Food
Can you blow out the candles? To try, you will need a java-script and enabled browser. Now, get up your breath, and click on the Blow! link just below the cake while you blow.
Brain Teasers 2) If a doctor gave you 3 pills and tells you to take one pill every half hour, how long would it be before all the pills had been taken? 3) I went to bed at eight o'clock in the evening and wound up my clock and set the alarm to sound at nine o'clock in the morning. How many hours of sleep would I get before being awoken by the alarm? 4) Divide 30 by half and add ten. What do you get? 5) A farmer had 17 sheep. All but 9 died. How many live sheep were left? 6) If you had only one match and entered a COLD and DARK room, where there was an oil heater, an oil lamp, and a candle, which would you light first? 7) A man builds a house with four side of rectangular construction, each side having a southern exposure. A big bear comes along. What color is the bear? 8) Take 2 apples from 3 apples. What do you have? 9) How many animals of each species did Moses take with him in the Ark? 10) If you drove a bus with 43 people on board from Chicago and stopped at Pittsburgh to pick up 7 more people and drop off 5 passengers and at Cleveland to drop off 8 passengers and pick up 4 more and eventually arrive at Philadelphia 20 hours later, what the name of the driver? 11) If you raked up 7 piles of leaves in the front yard and 5 piles in the back yard, how many pikes would you have if you put them altogether?

Well, sadly that's the end of my party! I hope you've had a great time, and I've
loved creating it for you! Now, please look around at the rest of my pages, and
be sure to sign the guestbook so that I know you've been!
1) All of them. Every month has at least 28 days.
