04/08/99 Update: Stem cell harvest went great!

Brandon's "stem cell harvest" went great! After the first day, they had exceeded the target number of cells to collect. So he only had to do the dialysis one day. Today he is having a CT scan and being marked-up for radiation treatments (to start ~ 04/12.) His mom is concerned about two things regarding the radiation: 1) The radiation could cause another bowel obstruction-they've been there done that twice already and don't want to go through that again--requires surgery, and 2) The radiation might stunt his growth since his spinal area is involved. As always, hoping for the best!
