Brandon and Melissa got home from Mexico on September 1st. It's been a hard week for them. Brandon has not been feeling well and they couldn't get into the clinic until today. They are starting some meds that will hopefully get his bowel movements going and ease his discomfort. They all seem very, very tired.
Here's a note from Brandon's dad:
Well Folks,
Don't really know how to tell you all, but it's not looking good for us. Brandon is dying. We don't know how long, but Melissa & I think we are buying time. His tumor is so aggressive that we [don't?] feel any thing will work, so we are just going to submit to God a plea of mercy, and we will give him meds to make what is left of his life comfortable.
Please keep us in your prayers. We know it's not God's will for him to die, and we can always keep praying for a miracle. It's
so hard to try and keep it all together, but for Brandon's sake we just can't put him though it any more. And if you saw him you would agree his little body looks like one of those starving kids from Africa and I mean skinny skinny legs and arms and his stomach looks like a basketball and has no strength left. So
what to do?
With all our love,
The Chamberlains, Russ, Melissa, Austin & Brandon
Please reply I could use some encouragement.
