A rather senseless death for such a wonderful character. She deserved to die with dignity, not zapped by a rather lame special effect., Nah, Nah, Deep Space 9 is the best of the Star Trek series'. It shows life as it really is-dark, gritty, funny, sad, hopeful. It has the most realistic characters, despite Avery Brooks' tendency to overact at times! Next Generation was a bit too cheesy at times, Voyager was OK, apart from Janeway's moralistic sense of 'I am right, tough cheese if we take even longer to get home, I'm right, so there 'cos I'm in charge'. THEY WANT TO GET HOME!!!!!!!!!

The series went downhill after Dukat killed her :( She was such a strong, fun loving and confidant woman, the most fascinating woman of Trek by far......and Ezri was a poor substitute. I only wish they will bring her back by means of a temporal rift or something so we can see her and Worf together just one last time. , absolutely not....., No and it still hasn't....thank goodness for reruns, Trek needs to do a DS9 movie.....I am afraid that now that Voyager has concluded we may never see Sisko and crew back in action again......I mean come on everything was left so up in the air...Trek owes us!! he he

It helped the story line but that was a pointless way to die and she shouldn't have., No no one could fill Jadzia's shoes.
