no..dax made a great addition to ds9..to kill her off was a stupid mistake,,i think alot of people think she was a great person..she made a good addition to ds9 and i think they were stupid to kill her off.
worf is strong..they shouldnt kill or do anything to make worf worse..he has been apart of the star trek universe since the beggining of tng...i'd think that they would have him go on with his life and find anouther love..he just got married to dax..and it was stupid to kill her off so suddenly,,, do what they normaly do..fight the bad guys..make some interesting story lines..some to catch our attention..give worf a new flame.

I am very mad that Dax died. Her death will NOT benifit the series at all. Everyone is devestated! And Ezri is not going to help the show at all. Who needs a corny counsler anyway? she'll just be another copy of Troi. it makes me shudder just to think of it!, Yes. I don't think he will be as funny and at ease. He will be as uptight as ever!, Yes they should! they need something to take their

It's the worst decision I've ever seen. I can't find out why those idiots who produce and or write the series would do such a thing to their loyal fans. With the wedding of Jadzia and Worf, the show had reached an unprecedented level of interest for me personally. I'm not the type of person to get all bent out of shape about the TV shows I watch, this is the first time in my life I have felt compelled to speak out. If there is a good reason for her death, i.e. failed contract negotiations etc., then o.k. But I think the fans should have been let down a little more gently. Worf and Jadzia just got married, and the last thing they talk about is that it looks promising that they can concieve a child, then wham!, she's dead. For heaven,s sake don't tantalize the viewer with an up coming plot, and then yank it away. To the "powers that be" for the series: I may not continue watching because I am so mad. Today I turned to a different channel when DS9 came on. Bring back Jad!zia.
Certainly it will affect his role, how can it not? His wife is dead. I am sick of seeing Worf dumped on. Either he's losing his family honor, or his family, or his chance to become a comptain because he saved Jadzia's life in the jungle. It almost smacks of predudice. He is different so he gets all the tough breaks. I love his absolute comitment to being honorable. If only more real people on earth could be so moral. Give him a break!!!

I don't think that her death benefit anything. Not that *she* benefited much since Worf arrived. By the time of her death it seemed that Paramount had lost sight of what they wanted to make out of Jadzia Dax. By bringing in Worf all that anyone ever saw was Curzon
so with Worf there we lost Jadzia as it was. Besides, once they lost sight of her she just became part of the background, as useless as Jake (sorry Jake fans), she
was just sort of there. When was the last time anyone saw her in the science lab? Since before Worf arrived. Her death didn't benefit or bring anything down as sadly, DS9 lost her as soon as that Klingon stepped aboard.From what I have seen of season seven it seems he will just become more of a control freak. I've never really liked the character of Worf so I don't really care what his character does.
I don't think they have much of a choice in pursuing the war, after all, the Cardassians and Founders aren't just going to go away. The Cardies and Founders want control of DS9 so they'll keep fighting for it. Even though they have no way to get reinforcements (as of now) because
the wormhole is shut they will keep fighting until they can no longer fight. The Federation has no choice but to keep fighting, or surrender.

I don't think they should have killed her. Her death is hurting the show especially since it's the last season. Another reminder that life isn't fair. Poor Jadzia.
Yes, he will be more depressed, I think. That's two wifes (or close female companions) he's lost, been killed by enemies. ,
They should clean up the war against the Cardys/Founders.

Dax was my favorite character. I loved her relationship with Worf. Her departure is a huge loss to the show., Don't know, Bring Terry Farrell back. (after all--anythings possible)

Itīll be dum for us to answer this kind of questions,because we havenīt seen those episodes yet here (Finland), where weīre from we are in season 4!!!) But still, ofcourse itīs just terrible!!! Why did she had to die!?!?!?! We will be very unhappy! It will benefit the series, weīre sure. DSN isnīt so good without Dax.
It will, we think so. We think that Worf will be sad somehow, but doesnīt show it much or maybe heīll break down., We donīt know. We think, that they should do something with the Founders, but we donīt know wath.
Laura: Personally, Iīd like to see a war between the Starfleet and the Cardassians, but it would be better to get friends (for them, not for us. If they are freinds, what will they do in Dsn? Fighting the Bajorans?!?) with the Cardassians and the Founders.
