Professor Arturo was killed in the series but in my mind he will never be dead. They land today in "Friends" world, a world that looks like earth prime, their home, but its not. Alley behind central perk

A large blue vortex opens up in the wall behind central perk. Cosmic and electrical energy are surging through the vortex. After about fifteen seconds four people, a tall man, a young later, a black man and a "husky" older man come through the vortex.Three land on a soft pile of bedding while the heavier man ends up in trash, quite familiar territory.

"That was nice." The black man, Rembrandt Brown said. "Though I think that lastslide gave me a wedgie."

"That was me," the taller man, Quinn Mallory said. "Sorry, I could not help it." He started to use his hands when he talked. "Your butt was right there. It was an impulse."

"Believe me Mr. Brown." The huskier gent, Professor Arturo said. "Its better thanlanding face first in a pile of used coffee beans. I do recall that also this certain person also made a big booboo on the last world."

"Hey, I said it over and over again. We're sorry we thought you were dead."

Rembrandt said.

"Well, next time check for a pulse you blistering idiot!" Arturo said.

"We should get out of this alley." Wade said. She started out into the main street. She got ready to cross when Quinn pushed her out of the way of a large yellow taxi.

"Hey!" Wade said as a ditzy looking blonde. "Watch where you're going!"

Phoebe Buffay turned and looked at the quartet. "I wasn't the one standing there, huh." She said as she walked in to Central Perk.

"Great, I hope we didn't land in weird world." Rembrandt said as he almost ran into a young man heading in the same direction. Rembrandt dropped the timer and the other man, Ross Geller dropped a box. A remote control slipped out.

"God, if I broke this again, Rachel will kill me." Ross said absentmindedly grabbing one of the controllers and walked into Central Perk.

"If he broke the timer, he don't have to worry about this Rachel." Rembrandt said.

"Take it easy." Quinn said as he took it from Rembrandt. "See? Its just fine. Lets get something to eat and we can figure out what to do while we're here."

Inside

Rachel Green sat down with her large green cup. She placed it front of her on thetable. She stopped suddenly when Ross stuck his hand in her face. She was so startled she nearly dropped her mochachino.

"I got it fixed!" Ross said.

"Ross! Thank you so much." Rachel said grabbing the box. She hefted it for aminute.

"Its heavier than it used to be."

"Could be those new economical batteries." Ross explained as he sat.

"What do they run on, rocket fuel?" Chandler Bing said.

"Oh, Chand, hon, don't forget that tennis match you wanted to see is on this afternoon. We can watch it at my place."

"Great!" Chandler said. "Its on in half an hour. I have enough time to get together my special snack." He clapped his hands together.

"You mean the five month old trail mix you keep next to the lounge chairs?" Rachel asked.

"Uh.." Chandler stuttered discovering he's been caught. "Hey we can't all be gourmet chefs!"

"Lets just go up, I'll find something." Rachel said grabbing her pocket book. She almost ran into Wade and the gange as she dragged Chandler out the door.

"I think we should stay in one place and not move." Wade proposed. >br>
"Why's that?" Quinn asked.

"Then we stand more of a chance of not being mowed down like a comic book character." Wade said as they sat down and got ready to order.

Upstairs

Rachel sat down on the couch with a bowl full of popcorn, remote - or what she thought was the remote in one had.

"Hurry up Chandler, the show is about to start!" She yelled. She had left the door to the apartment open so Chandler could hear her from where he was in his place.

"Coming." He yelled.

Rachel clicked on button on the remote. "Uh." She tried again pressing another button. "Chandler, come help me. This thing isn't working."

"Let me see it." Chandler said as he came into the room. Rachel stood and gave Chandler the remote.

"OK, maybe its this button." Rachel said as she pointed out one.

"Lets see what this will do." Chandler said as he pushed the button. A ray of light came out of the timer.

"Boy these things get more complicated every year." Chandler said, as the light beam bounced off the tv set and reflected back at them.

Quinn finished drinking his double latte'. "Remmy, why not tell us how much time we got left here. I think I can use couple more of these. I haven't had such good coffee in a dog's age."

"Thank you." Gunther said as he removed the large cup and replaced it with another.

"Okay let me check." Rembrant picked up what he thought was the timer."Uh, hmm." He said as he looked at it. "Do you remember the timer having a mute button?"

Quinn jumped up. He went over to Rembrant.

"Oh my god this is a tv remote."

"Then that Rachel chick must be upstairs with it right now!" Wade said. She then spotted Ross. "Uh, Ross, we need to talk to Rachel, can you show us where her place is?"

"Sure." Ross got up. "Do you want to tell me what this is all about?"

"We will if we get there in time." Quinn said. Ross decided to listen to Quinn, he was a full two more inches taller than him.

Seconds later the light from the room went back to normal. Rachel and Chandler looked around. The tv was still not on.

"Well, that was a whole lot of nothing." Chandler commented as the door opened suddenly.

"Hey Ross!" Rachel said. "Can you help us here?"

Ross looked around. "Theres no one here." He told the group.

"Ross?" Rachel said again, this time a little louder.

"Yo, Ross!" Chandler said stepping forward. He moved to touch Ross on the shoulder and his hand went clear through it. "What the hell was that?" Chandler said turning around, more than a little spooked at what had happened.

"I don't know." Rachel said grabbing Chandler. "Well I can touch you. I don't know why we can't touch anyone else in here."

"It must have had something to do with this." Chandler said pointing to the timer.

Quinn spotted the timer on the table. "This is ours, Ross and this is your remote control for the tv. We must have gotten them mixed up where we ran into each other."

"Hi!" Phoebe said coming in. She set her guitar to one ide."Whats going on?" Shethen stepped forward. "Hi Rachel and Chandler."

Chandler stepped back. "She can see us!"

"Pheebs, Rachel and Chandler arent here." Ross said.

"Sure they are. They are just on a differnt thingie." Phoebe said.

"She's right." Professor Arturo said examing the timer.

"Apparently they pushed a button they should not have and then a beam reflected off the tv and sent them into a different astral plane."

"Yeah, like I said." Phoebe said.

"How can you see them?" Quinn asked.

"I'm a little intuitive, and psychic." Phoebe smiled.

"So if I get this right all this fat guy...." Ross started.

"Hey!" Professor Arturo interupted.

"All he has to is aim the thing at the tv and have Rachel and Chandler in front of the beam so they can come back here."

"It's a little more complicated than that." Quinn said. "First we have to get the right coordinates for this world into the thing and then we have to get Rachel and Chandler be in the right place at the right time."

"Ok." Phoebe said.

A few minutes later Rachel and Chandler were sitting in a corner.

"Oh how long are we gonna be like this?" Rachel said. "I kinda miss being on our normal astral whatever that guy said."

"Me too, though I guess this is something we can chalk up to new experiences." Chandler said.

"There's not exactly a place for this on a resume you know." Rachel said looking at him.

"Sure there is. Went to new and exciting places." Chandler said. He wrapped his arms around Rachel.

"Thanks." She said. "For some reason its a little cold here on the other side of the universe. Its scary." Rachel said. "Even here I'm not thinking of Ross." "What are you thinking of?"

"Well, always check the remote control from now on is defintely what I learned here." Rachel said. "I'm thinking of new possiblilities."

"What new possibilities are there?" Chandler said nervously.

"This." Rachel kissed Chandler.

Phoebes head snapped up and she thought for a second. "Nah, I was imagining that. Rachel didnt really kiss Chandler!"

Professor Arturo squinted at the tiny display screen on the timer.

"I think I have it fixed." He said.

"Phoebe if you can kindly use your aura to locate Rachel and Chandler?"

"Sure." Phoebe pointed over in the chair. "Right there, in that chair."

Rachel was still kissing Chandler as the light they saw before surrounded them. Rachel was kissing Chandler as she heard Ross gasp. "Rachel!" Ross said.

"Oh my god." Rachel said. Chandler didn't know what to say for a change.

Quinn looked at the timer. "Guys, we gotta go now. The timer had us here for a half an hour and we almost missed the slide!" He then pushed the button and the wormhole opened up in the middle of the room. Quinn and the others left while Rachel, Chandler, Ross and Phoebe watched quietly. After the wormhole closed.

"Rachel, how could you?" Ross said.

"What, kiss Chandler?" Rachel.

"Yeah!"

"Well I liked it, and I would do it again if I wanted to."

Rachel said looking at Chandler. "Right Chandler?"

Chandler stared blankly into space. "Chandler?" Rachel said.

"I think I will stay out of this one." Chandler said and ran out the door. Leaving Ross and Rachel just to stare at each other.
