A HOLIDAY POEM
Happy Holidays to my family,
And to all your families, too.
Happy Hanukkah, Christmas, New Years,
Present Day and Saint Lucia's, too.
If my family were your family,
And if your family were mine,
Then we relatives should get together
Around the Holiday time!
A Holiday with no relatives,
Is like cake with frosting none.
It isn't really necessary,
But it makes it much more fun!
Hopefully your dreams come true,
With parents, grandparents, and such,
And hopefully antacid will be there,
If you should happen to eat too much!
And when it's all over,
We leave our relatives behind,
To sweep up all the crumbs and wrappings . . .
Aren't Holidays so fine?!
