The Legion Cross of Merit (L.C.M.) was introduced in 1975 and is awarded for exceptional service, loyalty and devotion to the Legion.

Description
The award, a gift medal cross, is 1/2 inch wide with a polished edge. Click on image for larger view.

Obverse
On the obverse side is the badge of the Legion coloured in red and gilt.

Reverse
The reverse is plain with the simple words "For Merit".

Ribbon
The medal's ribbon is rust with green stripes at each edge with the green stripe being overlaid with a 1/16 inch yellow stripe.

Awarded by Commandant General of Legion of Frontiersmen of the Commonwealth.
