Throughout its history, medals and decorations have been struck by the Legion and these presented to members and others for merit.
Merit
Merit is earned through praisworthy and commendable service. This is a subjective measure that is difficult to define. Legion medals are an indication of merit and should only be awarded with this in mind.
Legion Medals
The only medals issued by Australia Command are those Commonwealth Command medals, as approved and awarded directly by the Commandant General of the Legion, from the Legion Head Quarters in London. New Zealand medal site.
