Theoryland Beastiary

Armadillos:

Badgers:

Ferrets:

Deer: The deer is an animal indigenous to Theoryland. The Theoryland deer primarily live on a diet of mushrooms (“shrooms”) and differ in this respect from most other deer. According to deer-worshipper Deornoth, also known as Aram, the Theoryland deer bask in the radiance of the Almighty Shroom. It is reported, again by Aram, to be about 50 000 deer in Theoryland, but this number might be an exaggeration or rather a manifestation of Aram’s frequently split personality. The deer’s worst fear is to get their antlers caught in the branches above.

Hamsters: These creatures originally drove the messageboards of InsideTheWeb by running in their little wheels. In January 2000, Moonshadow Sedai of the Green Ajah, and her warder Uno, discovered that the ever-present problem of disappearing posts on ISTW came from starving hamsters eating at the threads. When all other possibilities had been explored, Theoryland moved from ISTW to escape the hamsters, but to no avail: the hamsters had begun breeding and left ISTW. They now seem to occupy every messageboard on the Internet, and have also become far more aggressive: not only do they eat posts, they have even caused entire servers to collapse. No place on the Web seems to be safe from the activities of these once-benevolent creatures.

Mad Mule: The mad mule came to Theoryland and did not leave. It’s rather odd appearances caused many a scholar to ponder over the nature of its sexual orientation, but this was later resolved when it came out of the barn. The mad mule generally claims that it is a horse. It’s a creature widely believed to have a future in the glue industry.

Owls:

Tree Mules:The tree mule, a distant member of the mule-family, is a creature not indigenous to Theoryland. It is believed to have migrated from the White Tower, although some authorities hold that it was driven out. The tree mule is about as intelligent as a piece of wood, hence its name. It is also a most annoying creature; the author of this report can certainly vouch for that.
