Hello! My name is Katie. I am in the 3rd grade and my favorite subject is art. But I also love to read. This is my first website ever. I have seventeen pets. They are a dozen chickens, two rabbits, a fish, a cat, and a dog. The dog is really my Mom's. My Dad works in the Navy - none of the pets are really his. I love where I live because of the old farm house we live in that is slowly getting fixed up, and all the snow that falls here. My favorite restaurant is KFC. My favorite pastime is watching TV, but I'm not allowed to watch it all the time. My favorite animals are the arctic fox, kit fox, and timber wolf. My favorite birds are the snowy owl, screech owl, peregrine falcon, and the kestrel. Oh, yeah - and the ruby throated hummingbird. My eighth birthday was the best ever! This fall, my parents took me and my cousin on vacation to Disney World in Florida. It was the first time for any of us, and we had a blast! This year I am taking swimming lessons and piano lessons and still attending Brownies with my Mom who is the troop leader.
