How to Make Money over the Internet

  1. Viewbars

Viewbars are small advertising windows that companies pay you to keep open. Basically, the companies split the advertising revenue with you. Most of viewbars are about 1 inch tall and the width of half your screen or all your screen. The companies mail you a check at the end of the month.

You are Paid: only while browsing the internet.

Other: You have to move your mouse every 2 minutes. You have to change what webpage you are on about every 10 minutes to continue getting paid. Sometimes their viewbar screws up my keyboard, but they claim that is a "known issue" that will be resolved "soon".

You Earn: (about) 10c an hour.
    Maximum Hours/Month: 40
Other: If you use their browser, it is very intrusive. Just the viewbar can be annoying because it won't let anything be on top of it. (If your Start Menu opens over the viewbar, Gotoworld will automatically close your Start Menu). It is hard to find out how much you have earned. They tell you how many hours you have browsed, but not how much money you have made.

  2. View Advertisements without Viewbars

    Freeride.com - shanson20
    * Freeride pays you 2-10c to go to an advertisers webpage. You can visit a maximum of 7 webpages a day. I find that I average about 6c a webpage, 42c a day, and $12.60 a month.
    * You get paid in gift certificates instead of money... but they have a pretty nice selection. (Books, CDs, Movies, Clothing). You normally have to save up about $5.00 before you can buy a gift certificate.
    * I think this is an excellent viewbar companion because it gives you a webpage to look at while you are also being paid by your viewbar.
    * Best of all, it only takes about 10-15 minutes a day to view 7 webpages.
    * They also have promotions and surveys you can take for extra points.
    * Please tell them that shanson20 sent you. (That's s for Steve, hanson for my last name, and 20 for my age in Y2K!)
    Net Flip
    * Net Flip is a search engine that pays you to view the results it returns.
    * It pays about 2c - 5c per link you view. (you must view it for at least 20 seconds).
    * You can view 10 links a day.
    * You get a check after $20.
    Ignifuge
    * Ignifuge is a start page.
    * They pay about 5c for each time you go to their page per day. (max of 10 times per day).
  3. Email Surveys and Advertising

    MyPoints.com
    * Mypoints will email you 1-3 letters per week. You get 10 points (about 8c) to click the "I read this message" button which takes you to a sponcer's webpage.
    * After about 1000 points, you can start trading them in for gift certificates.
    * I was NOT flooded with with junk email when I signed up for Mypoints.
    * Collecting points was a little slow if you didn't buy anything or take advantage of deals. It took me about a year to get my first gift certificate.
    * Tell them malibumalv sent you

    Money4surveys.com
    * A big list of companies that email you surveys to take.
    * They promise $1-$10 dollars per survey. . . but so far, I haven't had any surveys emailed to me.
