The year 2000 saw the return of Brenda, however brief it may have been.
While vacationing with Chloe, Jax kept having near run-ins with a woman he thought to be Brenda. Unable to take his mind off the fact that he felt Brenda was alive, Jax began to search for her and eventually he went to Paris to find her. While Jax searched for clues, a man waited outside the hotel for his companion. When she finally arrived the man told her she was late. Brenda replied she was worth the wait. Jax arrived at the hotel just in time to see Brenda stepping into a limo. He called her name and tried frantically to reach her but was delayed by people in his way. Brenda got into the limo without answering him, perhaps not hearing him, and as the car drove away, she took off her sunglasses. Brenda was indeed alive. When Jax finally made it to the hotel entrance, the car was out of sight. He asked the doorman who the young lady had been and was told she was the companion of a major international arms dealer. Jax then showed the doorman a picture of Brenda and asked if this was the girl. The doorman said it certainly looked like her. Later Jax explained to Chloe that he had to find Brenda and they said goodbye. Jax left to find his one true love.
