Well, this is quite an ambitious concept, and I wish you the best. Fellow voters, again, keep in mind that perspective is a good thing when it comes to voting for anime. If all you've seen is Sailor Moon, Evangelion, or Pokemon...you're missing a LOT.

i think this is a good idea; there seem to be more bad anime out there than good ones, also, there is a thin line between very good and absolutely excellent. not many anime series/movies cross this line, the result of which is a lower standard of quality

Good idea, both the concept and the name. Maybe next time the drop-down list can contain the anime released in the year so that there won't be too many repeat winners? It is sometimes hard to remember when a particular movie/anime/OAV first came out...

As a member of this group I hope to give the true winners of these awards the recognition they deserve. Most of the time Ranma or other series are voted for out of ignorance. Many of these people haven't seen enough anime to be a fair judge. If many lesse
known titles get recognition as great then it will convince these people to seek out these great titles.

Anime in Jap with English subtitles is the best. Most Chinese and English versions don't have the standard of dubbing of the original.
