News Flash! On October 28 and 29, 2006 Chayse started and finished her UKC AGI title, after only two training sessions on UKC's equipment. Chayse was handled by my student, David Talbot. Congrats to both of them!
Chayse is doing great. She has completed her first puppy class (by taking first place, would we expect anything less? LOL). She skipped advanced puppy and is in the novice class now. She often does half of hte Open/Utility class w/Wysk as well. Chayse is learning the dumbbell and out of sight stays...so far so good. Her first Novice fun match will be August 4, 02 I think. She'll be just shy of 5 months old. Chayse has started herding! She was on sheep June 29, 02 for the first time (pictures below) and loved it. She's been on stock a few times since and the drive is there. Chayse also did her first conformation fun match on there 3-month birthday. She managed BOB and a Group 1! Not a bad way to start your conf. career!
Chayse is a wild woman! In her first week here she has gone to two open/utility classes, one conformation class, one herding lesson and show and tell! She has become quite the social butterfly who is just a nut and a go-go-go girl (even though the current conclusion is that ducks ARE scary LOL), she is lookin' like a great prospect so far! She figured out the stairs in no time (both directions) so nothing can stop her now!
