Molly was a total accident. I was attending the county fair with a friend and there was a box of free, Springer/Chesapeake puppies. My friend was convinced her parents would let her keep the dog, so after a long wait for some kid to set a pup down, we grabbed Molly. As you can tell, her parents didn't let her keep him. Molly stayed with us, but we live the country and our humane societies get full quick, so we were on a waiting list to bring Molly in. Because we weren't keeping him I just called him Muttley, but my younger brother...who was two at the time couldn't say "Muttley"...he instead said Molly, and eventually Molly came to be a permanent resident here at the kennel...oh by the way, Molly is male! Molly started obedience at three months, and excelled in the class, he got his CGC when he was 6 months and his first show was at 7 months, he showed in Sub Novice and took the class over some good competition...Molly has since finished his UKC/ASCA/and AMBOR CD's. He's in the AMBOR UKC Rankings for 2000 Novice Dog! He recently finished his ASCA CDX and UKC CDX. Molly also started agility last year. He did one six week class and then was entered in an USDAA trial. He knocked a bar in both Novice runs, so he didn't get any legs, but he did qualify in Jumpers and Snooker. Nice Job Mol! Maybe he can do some more this next summer!
