Rescue Dogs and their Forever Homes!
The following dogs are dogs that have come to me in one way or another. They have spent time with me and were evaluated. In time they have found their AWESOME forever homes. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested, vaccinated, and microchipped before they leave me. These dogs, while their stays with me may be short, are all part of my crew. We are so happy to be a short stop on their busy roads in life and beyond happy at the wonderful homes they have found. Enjoy!

Meet Buddy TN-N
February 2007
Congrats to Paul and Buddy! They got their TN-N in 3 straight shows on November 3/4, 2007
Buddy is a male border collie who came to me in January 2007. He is a very sweet boy who really likes to be a lap dog. Paul Dragovich adopted Buddy in February. He took 2nd place in his beginning obedience class graduation. Paul and Buddy recently started competing in disc dog competitions. In June 07, at their second competition ever, Paul and Buddy got 2nd place in the Novice divison, AND they won the "Keeping it Fun" award. Paul has also started Buddy in herding (you can see pictures below) and hopes to start more formal agility training soon, in addition to continuing with his obedience. Way to go guys!

Meet Kazi
October 2007
Kazi is a female mini aussie who came to me in October of 2006. Kazi was originally placed with a friend of mine, but that didn't work out. Then she was placed in another home and THAT one didn't work out either! However, both homes did put her through a few obedience and agility training with her; she's also been started on sheep. Kazi was adopted by Melissa and Josh Weigel and has a new sport; disc dog! Kazi is going to be kickin' all of our rears on the micro dog circuit in no time!!

Meet Lucy
June 2007
Lucy is a female border collie who came to me in May 2007. She was only about 12 weeks old when she went looking for a new home! She just recieved the "Smartest Puppy" award in her beginning obedience class. Rebecca and Sarah want to do disc competitions and agility with Lucy (aka "Lucifer"). She's got a big future a head of her!
On February 2, 08, just a few days shy of a year old, Lucy competed in her first Distance and Accuracy Disc Dog Event. She took FIRST PLACE!! w/16 total points! Awesome job, Lucy!

Meet Rio
May 2007
Rio is a male border collie mix. He orginially came to me in early March of 07. Rio was dubbed "Revoloving Door Rio" due to being adopted out 3 times before he found Dave Stieper. Dave has a huge heart (and a fenced back yard) and was looking for a pal. Rio is perfect for him. Rio loves life playing in his back yard with volleyballs, disc, and chuck-it's. Rio starts obedience in July, but so far so good! Finally, Rio-D!!

Meet Sadie
October 2007
Sadie is a female border collie who came from Aussie rescue in September of 07. She was fostered by Paul (w/Buddy, pictured above) and quickly adopted out into her forever home w/the Anderson family in Minneapolis. Sadie is doing great and seems to get along well w/her new feline friends.
Meet Raven
December 2007
Raven is a female border collie x husky mix who came as a result of the owner having to move into town. Raven is a fansatic dog w/one exception; her "husky" desire to play "keep away." We worked her recall and as she began to improve she was quickly adopted. She is now a best friend, running partner and is soon going to be starting agility! Awesome Raven!
