Btw: Events and People in this story are fictional. (The people I don't own and

Fairies: The Theresa Lopez-Fiztgerald Story
"Hey O'Malley! Wassup!"
Mick O'Malley turned around and slapped his hand over the mouth of his friend's mouth. "Shut yer mouth lad! Do you want to blow the whole kit'n'kaboodle with yer blasted yap!"
Grun the gnome's eyes seemed to feel up with tears and O'Malley could feel the lad's lip start to tremble underneath his hand. "There, there lad, don't cry. I just need you to shut your mouth just a bit longer while figure out how to go about our present predicament."
"So your not mad at me?" Grun asked his eyes filling with hope behind the tears. At least that what the leprechaun thought that was what the gnome said. O'Malley's hand was still very tight over the lad's mouth so all he heard was kind of garbled.
"Nay lad, o'course not. Now I'm gonna let my hand off o'yer mouth and yer not to say a word. Alright?" Grun nodded and O'Malley let his hand slowly drop away from Grun's mouth. O'Malley then looked at the slobbered covered hand and said "By the hoard of Kysundar, yer managing to slobber worse than a hobgoblin in heat lad." He then wiped his hand on his pants and looked around the room. It was covered with pictures of a certain Ethan Crane.
"I'll ne'er understand the attraction that girl has for this boy. I mean, we have been working our arses o'ertime trying to make sure this girl doesn't get caught and does not even seem to appreciate it. She just keeps trying more and more outrageous things and running the risk of getting caught more and more."
"Well Mick, she doesn't know that its us who've been lending her a helping hand ya know."
"Well that'll change soon lad."
"Are you sure you want to let Theresa catch you."
O'Malley turned to face Grun and grinned. "O yes lad. We have gone above and beyond what the oaths we swore told us to do. There is not a fairy in the house who would like to be free of their oath to the descendents of the Fitzgeralds and the only way to be free o' that is to have one of them Fitzgeralds free it from us themselves."
"Yes, but why Theresa Mick. And you know what the council would do to us if they found out. We be killed or worse."
"Ay lad, but it is worth the risk. Besides, they can't do anything if I just "happened" to get caught. That's how we came to get involved with this family centuries ago anyways."
O'Malley was about to continue when he and Grun heard the vibrations. They could not describe it. The "vibrations" was the feeling the little folk got when they knew someone was coming. It rarely failed them. O'Malley smiled and motioned for Grun to run behind the dresser.
"Don't worry lad, I've got it from here."
"Good luck Mick."
"Good luck," O'Malley called back to Mick's retreating form, "why we leprechauns invented luck ye long bearded cone hatted ...." and then trailed off as he felt the vibrations get stronger. He straighten his green top hat and his coat. Then he pulled out a hanky and polished up shoe buckles.
All the while, the vibrations were getting stronger and stronger. O'Malley listened to them for a few seconds to make sure that it was Theresa and yes, she was alone. O'Malley then turned and waved at a now hidden and very nervous Grun and then in less time it takes to blink, ended up from the floor to the middle of Theresa's pillow. O'Malley then laid back, put his hat over his face and put his arms behind his head and pretended to be asleep.
Just then the door opened and Theresa walked in. She was in her usual cloud nine state Grun noticed and did not even look as she flopped right onto the bed and came face to hat with a Leprechaun. O'Malley tipped back his hat and stared up into the now wide brown eyes of Theresa and said "OOPS. Guess ya caught me lass. So which is it ya be wantin. Me lucky charms or me pot of gold?"
Theresa didn't answer as she quite suddenly fainted.
Grun appeared on the bed beside O'Malley.
"Does it count as catching you if she faints?"
O'Malley looked at Grun and replied "I won't tell if you won't."
