An Education Creed



We believe in God, our Eternal Father,

     who instructs us and disciplines us in the biblical paths 
     of joy and abundant living. 

We believe in God the Son, Jesus Christ, the Great Teacher,

     who teaches us how to live as children
     of the heavenly Kingdom. 

We believe in God the Holy Spirit,

     who convicts us and renews us,
     who guides us into all truth. 

We believe that every person has a right to the 
     best education society can offer,

     and that we have a sacred duty to work toward
     the realization of that goal. 

We believe that it is the will of God that the Church
     stand for students all over the world,
     supporting their teachers
     and endeavoring to improve the education of all. 

We believe that we are called to love and to gently instruct 
     all people in the truths of God’s creation
     and scriptural holiness,

     that God may be glorified in Christ in all that we do. Amen.

1
