HENDERSON ~ PAYNE

I have at least two families that were in Vigo County, Indiana.

Jesse Cromwell HENDERSON, son of William HENDERSON and Mary TAYLOR (?). Jesse was born on 21 Oct 1833 in Ohio. He died on 17 March 1928 in St. Johns, Kansas. He married Ann PAYNE on 22 November 1856 in Vigo County, Indiana.

Ann PAYNE: her parents and birth information are unknown to me. She died in 1873 in Kansas in a fire.

Jesse and Ann are listed in the 1860 IN census (Otter Beach Township, Vigo County). They had three children, one of whom was born in 1857 in Terre Haute.
