The Creature from the Abyss

This was for a challenge in the Bryce Forum at Renderosity, which was to create an image of "the abyss." I'm not sure if mine really follows the guidelines or not, since there's no abyss visible in the image, but that's because one of the denizens of the abyss is lunging at the viewer.
