Avoiding Sars in Mass

This is a web page that I have started as of April 17th. I am not an expert on this and I have not even put this my web page with the exception of a link to my personal page. So use this with care. You might want to check things out elsewher.

Bishops in Singapore and Toronto have already changed several things to reduce the spread of Sars. A bishop in Singapore has been suggested that we not kiss the cross on Holy week. Recieving the Eucharist on the tougue is now discouraged. If people do recieve the Eucharist on the tongue the priest is to be careful not to touch the lips or tongue and to stop distribution and wash up if he does. Only the priest recieves from the cup. A bow as opposed to a handshake has be recommended for the kiss of peace. In areas where Sars is a problem anyone who might have the disease has been urged to stay home. A Canadian Bishop has said that if you feel their is a conflict between your religious duty and your public health duty there is not. Your public health duty is your religious duty.
