A growing collection of links

If you need an irreverent giggle, visit Sister Rossetta, the Lavender Nun. You can check out her experience being kidnapped by the Heaven's Gate Cult, or her friend Areala the Warrior Nun. Among her top ten teen sins? Wearing miniskirts, skateboarding, and listening to rock n'roll.

But if you're feeling really naughty, visit the Dark Lair of Infinite Evil. Link to pages like the Rotting SpamCam and the Exploding Head Page, or find out more about witches and vampires. Or, you choose an image from a gallery of psycho pictures and send your online friend (or enemy) an Evilgram. Caution, this is not for the faint of heart or those who won't take some things with a grain of salt. Open the gates to your next journey

But is evil really evil? How many angels can dance on the head of a pin? What is existence? Can you unify Hegel's first contact of being? If you're looking for the answers to these, or would like to see some creative alter egos and actually interesting ad hominem attacks, try the Philosophy Campfire Chat. But beware, a lot of those guys really know their stuff.

Most of the images on my page come from the WebMagick Virtual Art site. Images of and information about Dali, Beardsley, Munch, Mucha, and all the Pre-Raphaelites--interspersed with the best Romantic poems--reside on this erudite, gorgeous site. Sorceresses, maidens of death, and customized postcards...it is truly amazing.

Here is another wonderful art and literature page: Iconoclast. A feast for the eyes and intellect: an elegant tribute to Surrealism, Dadaism, 20th century faery tales, Leonora Carrington, Baudelaire, Poe, and Angela herself...Eureka!

It's pretty cool that Jim Morrison could re-arrange his name into "Mr Mojo Risin." I, however, am stuck with anagrams of "a gross fat-ass Hun" and "Satan, hag of USSR." Find out what your name could mean at the Anagram Generator.

If you've read anything by J.R.R. Tolkien, you must check out the Sarcasm Page. Discover the infamous LoTR board game...and do you know exactly how close the relationship between Galadriel and Gimli is? Or that the mysterious Tom Bombadil is actually the Witch-king of Angmar??...The more of a dedicated fan you are (like myself), the more you will enjoy this crackpot page.

Or perhaps you would like to meet the crackpots themselves. I'm a proud member of the Tolkien Eccentric Unusual Nutcases (TEUNC), a group of email terrorists dedicated to Tolkien, Monty Python, the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Led Zeppelin, Star Wars, the Enchanted Forest books, humor, chocolate, lunacy ... and to destroying the evil of the dreaded Spice Girls, Hanson, Puffy Combs, and furbies.

The great rock band Led Zeppelin alluded to Tolkien's works in several of their songs...and us crazy rock n' fantasy people are dedicated to hunting out all those references. Visit the May Queen at Stairway to Middle Earth to find out more about the connections..."There's a feeling I get, when I look to the West, and my spirit is crying for leaving."

I love the wonderful music and the ideas of peace and freedom of the 60's...no, it wasn't just a bunch of stoned people with flowers and weird clothes. The Summer of Love site gives you a tour through the whole era complete with gorgeous pictures, stories, and links.

I'm interested in the Celtic myths and Arthurian legends...another of my favorite books is The Mists of Avalonby Marion Zimmer Bradley--a superb re-telling of Arthur from the women's point of view. Here is a beautiful site dedicated to those legends (and practicing them in today's world): Ynis Avalon.
