But for all his fear abuot being dubbed gay, Chandler has inadvertently kissed another man before - thinking that it was a very pretty woman. It was Atlantic City, it was dark and it was a very, very pretty man. Still he kissed a dude! Of course, his best pal, Joey, also planted a big wet one on his face on a particular New Year when Chandler was begging for a kiss.

An interesting thing about Chandler is the fact that he has a third nipple - that obviously opens up the door to the magical land of Narnia. This interesting fact came to the surface after he betrayed one of Monica's secrets. Surprisingly our man here is confided with a lot of secrets and supposedly spills them to make people like him. However, since the nipple started to become a source of embarassment for him - and the reason that he was dumped by one of his girlfriend's - The Stick Girl, Chandler has since removed it via surgery.

Not exactly his quirk but more of other people's.. his gang especially. It seems most people don't realize things about him. For instance, they thought that he wore glasses when he didn't.. they thought he was left-handed...

Sadly, the man has only half a toe. Supposedly, a vengeful Monica once unmanned him by dropping a knife right onto his lil piggy - unfortunately, his lil piggy didn't quite make it to the market but instead was replaced by a wee carrot. Till now, he still misses the toe cause it has the best part - which has the nail!

One thing that Chandler does that is pretty unusual is his version of a victory dance. Each time he gets something that he really wants or achieves the near impossible, he literally leaps up and does this swaying, hip-swivelling farce of a dance.

If you have seen a good pic of Chandler, count yourself lucky as he hardly evertakes any good pictures. He doesn't go for pics, a weird-looking creep appears whenever the camera comes into play.

And the man also has a reputation for being... a dropper. Supposedly, the man cannot be trusted to catch anything.

Fears

One of his greatest fears is of turning out to be alone, crazy and single ( gasp! ), like one of their irascible neighbours, Mr Heckles. When Mr Heckles dies, the gang unearths some of his stuff from his apartment which he leaves to the two noisy girls upstairs ( namely Monica and Rachel ).

The old, crusty bachelor turns out to be a lot like Chandler when he was young and it scares the hell out of Chandler who worries that he might end up the same way. They share the same traits ( voted class clown! ), the same interests and worst of all, Mr Heckles also seemed to find so many imperfections in the women that he dated ( as Chandler was prone to do ).

An episode in the fourth season had the friends trying to find out who knew the most about the other. Interestingly enough, Michael Flatley, the Irish Lord fo the Dance scares the bejeezus out of him. Something to do with his legs flailing about as if independent of his body. Another weird fact that appeared on that same episode was the fact that Chandler receives his TV Guide under the name of Miss Chinandler Bong.

Is it any wonder that Chandler fears gyms? The idea of anything remotely physical gets him into a cold sweat. The battle of the bulge worries him but not even tough Monica's pummelling and stubbornness can get him off his butt. But for some weird reason, the man has a gym club membership! Though that had less to do with losing flab and more to do with a certain nubile, curvaceous gym goddess.

The man is afraid of dogs. The cute, furry animals scare the hell out of him. For years he has fooled everyone that he has an allergy to dogs that they make his throat clog up when he is actually afraid.

Habits

His one bad habit that he tries very hard to stop is his smoking. Chandler admits that he started the habit at nine when his parents announced their divorce with such aplomb. Serious problems ( such as Ross and Rachel breaking up ) usually lower his resistance and brings on the habit again. With his puffing away since pre-adolescent years, it is no wonder that he has a limited lung capacity. Luckily he has friends to help him stop smoking ( like Phoebe giving him loads of cash and Rachel's hypnosis tape ).

His gang at Central Perk also enjoy making fun of the way he talks - as he does put an emphasis on certain words in his speech. Not to mention all his hand gestures.

Certainly Chandler seems to be the most tech-savvy of them all as he does possess a laptop of his own. But sadly, all he seems to do with it is play games and compile terrible lists. Apart from that one time where he met a wonderful dream date online... someone who embodied everything he'd dreamt about.. and horrifyingly turned out to be the unforgettable Janice!

Apparently the famous person that Chandler can think of at the spur of the moment with his name is the American detective novelist Raymond Chandler. This came up while Joey and Chandler were fighting to have Phoebe's second child named after them. Joey's comment that Chandler's name is actually a non-name drives him to change his name. This alarms Phoebe and she finally agrees to name her baby Chandler. Ironically however, the second child turned out to be all woman ;)
