CSI

William Petersen and Emmy Award Winner Marg Helgenberger star in this fast-paced drama about a passionate team of forensic investigators in Las Vegas that solves crimes the old-fashioned way - by examining the evidence.

The C.S.I. is on the case 24-7, scouring the scene, collecting the irrefutable evidence and finding the missing pieces that will solve the mystery.

CSI cast A varied team of professionals... Gil Grisson ( Petersen ), the senior forensics officer, heads the team of Crime Scene Investigators at the Criminalistic Bureau in Las Vegas - said to be a cross between Mr Rogers and Bill Gates but with the intelligence of Albert Einstein; Catherine Willows ( Helgenberger ) is a single parent who must juggle a job that she loves and parenthood; Captain Jim Brass ( Paul Guilfoyle ) is tough on everyone and he isn't happy that rookie Holly Gribbs ( Chandra West ) got her job because of whom she knows and not what she can do. And Warrick Brown ( Gary Dourdan ) and Nicky Stokes ( George Eads ) are in head-to-head competition to solve their 100th crime.

George! George Eads is supposed to be playing Nicky Stokes - said to be a blond stud out of Lincoln, Nebraska in his late 20s with a killer smile and an infectious way with people. They couldn't have picked a more suitable man for the role :)

Jerry Bruckheimer ( Con Air, Armageddon ), Anthony Zuiker and James Hart are executive producers and William Petersen is a producer for Fox Touchstone Television in association with CBS Productions.

Weird, wild and witty. And in Vegas! You'd have to be strange to scrutinize crime there, so we have police crime scene investigators (as in the title) serving up chocolate-covered grasshoppers, synching "Dark Side of the Moon" to "The Wizard of Oz" and feeling "like King Kong on cocaine." Their buzz comes from catching the baddies by "concentrating on what cannot lie: the evidence," says sage boss William Petersen ("The Beast"), whose forensics team includes competitive hotshots Gary Dourdan and George Eads, single mom Marg Helgenberger and gung-ho newbie Jorja Fox. They get goofy over diminutive details such as toenail clippings and hair DNA, and downright delirious when they can use 'em to nail the perps. You'd think it'd be dull, but characters don't get much more vivid than these.
