EXPERIENCES IN ENGINEERING PROJECTS |
1998 Final Year Project |
|
Development and fabrication of a 3 stage down-conversion Digital Beamforming Receiver. This receiver is actually made up of 4 superhetedyne receivers, each connected to an antenna forming a 4 antenna/receiver array. The output of these receivers connects to ADCs .All analogue signal will be converted to digital domain for digital beamforming. RF input to the receiver is at 1.25GHz. Output to ADC is 1.6Mhz. MDS tools are used in the RF design. The PCB is drawn using Protel EDA 3.4. | |
