Here are the stats for the foster program, including related stats (like number of adoptions!)

The number of animals fostered for:
• 1999 Fostered: 1312 increase of 65% over 1998 (182 Dogs and puppies and 1130 Cats and kittens)
• 1998 Fostered: 859 [186 dogs and puppies, 673 cats and kittens](before I became the foster program co-ordinator)

  Number of FOSTER animals adopted:
  
• 1999 FOSTER animals adopted: 1016 (140 died or had to be euthanised. The remaning where still in foster care at the end of the year)
  animals helped through S.A.V.E. fund:
  
• 1999 the number of animals helped was 93 (49 dogs and 44 cats)
• 1998 the number of animals helped was 50
  RESCUE ANIMALS ADOPTED:
  note: I only work with the cat end of rescue
  
• 1999 DOGS 121 SMALL DOGS = 49 LARGE DOGS = 75 (2 to Canada Customs and 7 through Foster/rescue)
• 1998 DOGS = 115
• 1999 CATS = 128
• 1998 CATS = 99 (I was not running rescue at this time)
