Opinions, ratings and reviews. We all have them on every subject imaginable. I'm starting shallow on mine, maybe one day I'll go deep but I doubt it, lol. Basically I will be giving you my opinion on things I've tried or places I've been. I'm not getting anything out of this nor do I work for any of the places listed, this is just my true and honest opinion.

So please don't blame me if you don't feel the same!

My first review comes in the form of fabulous perfumed goodies. You shouldn't be surprised at that.

Lush - Fresh handmade cosmetics

Aussie Webbie International Webbie

I adore Lush! There is one in Western Australia, located at the Garden City Shopping Centre. When I first found Lush, I could smell it before I saw it. You know those cartoons where the characters are drifting, following a delicious aroma? That was me finding Lush.

Bath Ballistics

A bath ballistic is a round ball just like your regular bath bomb. They vary in size, fragrance and colour. They fizz up when you drop them in a bathful of warm water.

Black Pearl
This bath ballistic does indeed have a lovely blackcurrent and lavender fragrance. I adored the wise saying inside - it was on a thin piece of paper like a fortune cookie fortune. I had to dig around in the bath before I found it though. The glitter was lovely and a small amount of silver stars made it the perfect little bath bomb. I would love to see this in a large size. This has had a change over time - it used to have speckles of rock salt in it, but that has been changed to speckles of sugar. It's still good.

Chelsea Garden
I was enticed by the amount of dried flowers throughout this ballistic. Even more flowers appeared when I used it. The fragrance was fantastic, one of my favourite fragrances to date. As nice as the flowers were, it doesn't look the best in the bath as the dried flowers are that dried brown colour, and they are goopy when you try to scoop them out of the bath.

Letters to Santa - available at Christmas
Anything Christmasy gets my attention, as did this. An interesting cinnamon shade of brown and with a scent to match was wonderful. The packet claimed "candy letters slowly dissolve" but to my disappointment I discovered the letters were not made of candy, but of thin foam rubber. Dissolving candy sounds much better than foam letters that you have to scoop out at the end of your bath. This bomb also left a murky ring in the bath from all the cinnamon and spice. Foam letters and murky rings aside, I adored the fragrance of this. It was everything that is good about Christmas.

Butterball
Smells heavenly and the pieces of cocobutter are fun to squish. If, like me, you like to be squeaky clean after a bath then this may not be for you, as the cocobutter tends to leave an oily film on the skin. However, I am getting used to that feeling as it's nice to feel all moisturised and glossy before bed time.

Jingle Spells - available at Christmas
This turned the water a very dark purple colour. The sales assistant told me that it actually separates into two different shades of colour, but I couldn't tell. Lovely fragrance!

Se* Bomb
Pink and purple with a candy rose on top, it smells devine. I received this as a present from a friend. It was great - beautiful pinky water. The flower dissolved to a messy mush though.

Lush Pud - available at Christmas
This bomb looks and smells just like a Christmas pudding! It's all those terrific Christmasy smells rolled into one bath. I wish I bought more of these.

Twinkle - available at Christmas
This was a small little bath bomb and its name was promising. It claimed to have gold glitter in it which it didn't. Not even a dot! It barely had an aroma and didn't colour the water at all. UTTERLY DISAPPOINTING!!!

Now I know I've tried at least one other bath bomb. It was a champagne scented one that was filled with big pieces of iridescent glitter, orange, gold and black glitter stars. While it smelled amazing and was fun to splash around in, the glitter stars and pieces were a bit scratchy on the skin. I don't care though because I love glitter. It might have been called Christmas Party.

Golden Slumbers
I bought this today, it's a brand new ballistic released this month. According to the Lush webbie, it's packed with lavender and chamomile oils that are very relaxing. I bought it for the gorgeous golden shimmer on the top half, beautiful!

Happy Pill
Shaped like a huge orange and yellow tablet, it got my attention straight away. It's strange seeing a non-spherical ballistic on the shelf! I'm yet to try it. Lush (in W.A.) has a 'reuse your Lush bag' promotion at the moment where you reuse the bag you received with your purchase four times (you get a stamp each time) and on your fourth visit you'll receive a free Happy Pill ballistic. I'll treat that bag of mine like gold!

Rainbow Worrier - discontinued
I bought a couple of these that were on special - I wish I had bought more because they are no longer available (they can be bought on the webbie). These bombs are pure white with a hidden centre of colour - pink, yellow or blue. You don't know which you will get. I got a blue one and I haven't tried the other yet. It has a very intense, heady fragrance - sandalwood and a concoction of other oils. There is also a hidden paper message in the bomb which you dig around in the bath to find. My message said something about planning in advance being a good thing, which freaked me out because planning causes me stress. Anyway... I enjoyed this.

Next to try: Youki-Hi, Sakura.

Bubble Bar Slices

Bubble bar slices are a slice of solid bubble bath mixture. Just crumble up a piece or even a whole slice under warm running water so masses of bubbles that last for the whole bath.

Bathos
This was the first thing I ever bought from Lush and is still a favourite of mine. The purpleness of the water is great. It smells just like violets and makes for a wonderful bath.

Creamy Candy
Nice and pink and girly! It smells like vanilla flavoured lollies and has flower shaped lollies on the top. Great for those who love lollies but won't allow themselves to eat them....oh the shame.....embarrassingly, I picked off one of the candy flowers and ate it before I dropped the bar in the bath. So maybe not so good for those not allowed to eat lollies after all.

Ruby Red Slippers - may be seasonal
This may only be available at the Valentines season because I haven't seen them in store since. This smells divinely of carnations and roses. The water turned a lovely pink colour. The slice is covered in red glitter and contains red glitter stars. I'm yet to use it but I gave one to my Mum who really enjoyed it, even with so much glitter.

Next to try: Flosty Gritter, Sunny Side.

Butter Creams

When these butter creams first came out, they were in little pots with the consistency of a lip balm. Lately I've found them to be in more solidified slices like a soap. I much prefer the gooier texture. The fragrances remain the same.

Ring of Roses
I love the scent of rose and this has a perfect rose and lemon fragrance. I use it just like a soap. (I've since found out that the formula has been changed so it is more like a soap). I've found that after a week, the butter cream loses it's fragrance.

Almond Butter
When I tried this, it was available in the gooier texture in a pot. Mmmm! It smells like an orange chocolate cake, truly devine and an absolute favourite of mine! It is also exfoliating so I use it once or twice a week. I've run out so I better get some more. ** I sniffed and squished a sample in the shop, and I'm sorry to say that the texture is now almost solid like the other butter creams. I feel like protesting against the name 'butter cream' now, it's almost false advertising!

Lemslip
Very refreshing with the fabulous burst of lemons. I only tried a small sample of this but that was enough to make me want to try it again.

Next to try: Heavenly Bodies.

Soaps

You know what soap is. If you don't then stay away from me!

Honey I Washed the Kids
At first glance it looks interesting with a honeycomb lattice of beeswax on the top. It smells creamy, sugary, toffee-ish and full of honey. After 3 washes with this, the smell made me slightly nauseous. After 5 washes, I changed my mind and quite enjoy the fragrance.

Miranda
My favourite of all the soaps I've tried. It's deliciously fruity and I found it to be mildly exfoliating too. I used it up way too quickly.

Twas the Night Before Christmas- available at Christmas
A soap just like the Jingle Spells bath bomb. This was mildly fragranced with a nice dose of blue and green glitter on top.

Next to try: Sandstone, Figs and Leaves, Gratuitous Violets.

Specifically Shower

All things for the shower are listed here together as I haven't tried many yet!

Strawberry Twin Tub Shower Jelly
Smells just like strawberries, foamed nicely but it was difficult to hold on to!

Flying Fox
I have a sample of this that I'm looking forward to trying. It smells just like honeysuckle flowers to me.

Next to try: Creamed Almond Coco Smoothie.

Everything else

There are many other products available and here is what I've tried.

Something Wicked This Way Comes - Balt Melt
Its gingerish fragrance is great! I have not used it in the bath yet, I just rub it onto my arms because it smells wonderful, and is full of pink and gold glitter that sparkles! ** Waaaaahh!!! They've reformulated this and taken out all the glitter! *throws self on the floor and cries*

Coolaulin - Hair conditioner
On the description on the webbie, the way they talk about fresh coconuts and it's softening properties had me hooked with high hopes. I was extremely disappointed. What I received was a conditioner that smelled of year old dessicated coconut. After using it I could barely get a comb through my hair. Never again!! ** I've since found another brand of hair care that uses coconut oil - Inecto. It smells divinely of coconut and vanilla - almost like a Bounty chocolate bar. I'm still undecided about it's level of conditioning (Pantene is my yardstick I'm afraid) I should have a clearer answer after a few more washes. ** Inecto is no Pantene but I used it all up and will buy it again one day.

Chocolate Whipstick - Lip Balm
Tastes like Jaffa's - all chocolate and orange. Feels smooth and lasts for ages (on your lips). Unfortunately I found a suspicious looking black part of lip balm near the lip of the tin. I think it went 'off' so I threw it out just in case. Hmmph.

Glitterbug - Massage bar
A massage bar filled with little bits of glitter for you to look sparkly on a night out. Since I'm not brave enough to go out all glitterfied, I use it at home for a sparkly night in!

Honey Trap - Lip balm
Another yummy product that goes on smooth, lasts for ages and smells like honey. This one feels like it makes my lips softer. Apparently it has white chocolate in it.

Mange Too Massage - Massage Bar
To me, this is the most delicious smelling of all Lush products. There are so many fragrances in it - honey, white chocolate, peppermint, bananas, mango, vanilla and orange. I use this as a moisturiser after a bath so I smell yummy all night! The bar lasts for a very long time, so it's more economical than a bath bomb really.

Wiccy Magic Muscles - Massage bar
Bought today, smells divine, yet to try.

Next to try: American Cream conditioner, The blonde solid shampoo, Buffy body scrub, toothpaste.

There are other things I've tried but they no longer exist, so I haven't listed them. Trust me, they were wonderful too.

Next review: The Body Shop.
