This is all about my beautiful country Suriname ,
the only dutch speaking country in South America .
And also the only one with such a difference
in cultures and races ,
living together in harmony . Suriname is unique in
so many other ways, like having :
the highest wooden building in the region (Cathedral) ,
the biggest rain forest nature reserve
(Central Suriname Nature Reserve) etc. etc .
We have a very beautiful interior ,
excellent for eco-tourists .
The capital of Suriname is Paramaribo where we still have
the wooden buildings from colonial time .
Listen to the local , radio
and feel the Surinamese
rhythm !
In the last month of the year we party in an organized
way .
There are a lot of Surinamese
living in the Netherlands .
Suriname is a member of the CARICOM (
CARIbbean
COMmunity) .
