As
usual I have mixed feelings about this, but the decision was made
to
include that material. This material is for trade only.
This
set aims to collect all the different studio takes and mixes from the
Axis
period, which was taken to be May - November 1967. The only tracks
not
included were Burning of the Midnight Lamp (since plans are to include
it
with a future ELL set) and the Summer 1967 sessions with Curtis Knight.
All mixes and takes of actual Axis
tracks are given first, and the outtakes from these sessions
appear
at the end.
