I got the cassette tape for this CD-r release in trade from a guy who lived nearby in the mid 70's.  He used to bring over tapes recorded at local venues dating from the late 60's through the early 70's.  He didn't talk much and I didn't ask many questions.  I don't believe he traded through the mail at all and only limited trades in person.  He didn't record the shows but I believe he was very close to the person who did.  Over the years I traded analog copies of the tape.  I have never done a digital transfer of it until now.  I have been contacted a few times by people who said they were traceing the tape backwards to try to find the source.  They said they always traced it back to me.  We weren't able to contact the guy I got it from.  That's why I believe the boots that exist of this show came from the analog copies I sent out in trade.  I haven't heard the existing boots so I can't say for sure and I don't know the quality of them.  This one is not bad considering it's from 1968.  There is a cut in Foxy Lady and a speed fluctuation (wow) in it for a short time before and after the cut.  Foxy Lady ends a few seconds early with a cut.

Built in 1936 to house events near downtown and in the Cultural District, the Will Rogers Memorial Center attracts more than 2 million visitors each year.

This 85-acre network of buildings plays host to auctions, entertainment and sporting events, business meetings, and livestock and equestrian shows. The Will Rogers Coliseum, which holds 8,000 people, hosts the Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show and Rodeo as well as other sporting and equestrian events.

Broadway productions and concerts take place in the Will Rogers Auditorium, which seats 2,856. The auditorium features excellent acoustic capabilities in a unique, art-deco architectural setting.

Banquet facilities are available. The Will Rogers Equestrian Center is one of the top livestock facilities in the world, with more than 1,000 stalls. Prices vary according to event. Parking is free unless there is a special event in progress.

I did the editing, analog to digital transfer and the artwork for this version of this show.  Please keep the artwork and text file, unaltered, together with the SHN's.

Please don't alter the sound of this recording.  If you want to do something find a better quality tape of the show and work from that. Don't just take what I have done and screw with it.
