Pierce Guests On 'Titus' & Other Casting News
LOS ANGELES - "Frasier" star David Hyde Pierce is switching networks when he guest stars on an upcoming episode of the fellow Tuesday night comedy "Titus." Pierce will play the leader of a self-help seminar Titus is tricked into attending. The episode featuring Pierce airs Feb. 27. In other casting news, Philip Michael Thomas is re-teaming with his former "Miami Vice" partner on CBS' "Nash Bridges" on Feb. 16th. Thomas will play U.S. Marshal Rick Hawks, who returns to San Francisco to pick up a key witness in a drug trafficking case, when both he and Nash (Johnson) are kidnapped and held for ransom by a drug lord. Alice Cooper, Howard Hesseman ("WKRP In Cincinnati") and Danny Bonaduce ("The Patridge Family" ) are guest-starring on FOX's "That '70 Show" when Donna (Laura Prepon) gets a job at a local radio station. The episode will air Feb. 6. Lourdes Benedicto is changing careers from cop to doctor. The "NYPD Blue" regular has landed a multi-episode guest spot on NBC's medical drama "ER," according to Variety. Benedicto will play a pediatric specialist and possible love-interest for Dr. Carter (Noah Wyle). Mark Matkevich, who has been guest starring on The WB's "Dawson's Creek," will stay on as a regular, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Kyle MacLachlan is returning to "Sex and the City." MacLachlan is reprising his role as Trey McDougal, Charlotte's (Kristen Davis) husband on the upcoming season of the HBO comedy. |
