As the baseball season nears its close, we present to you a picture of a 1962 Rheingold beer advertisement featuring then-Mets manager Casey Stengel and 1962 Miss Rheingold, Kathy Kersh.

Stengel was fined $500 by Major League Baseball Commissioner Ford Frick, for violating a rule prohibiting uniformed MLB personnel from appearing in liquor advertisements.

Kersh would later play Cornelia, one of the Joker’s molls, on Batman. At the time of these ads, Kersh - obviously - had not yet dyed her hair blonde.

A marriage to and divorce from Burt Ward was also in her future.
