(Author's Note: This scene meshes Joan Collins’ Siren character with another temptress she portrayed, the man-eating Angela Hoffa from the 1958 film, Rally ’Round the Flag, Boys. Interestingly, like the 1966-68 Batman TV series, Rally 'Round the Flag, Boys was a 20th Century Fox production. Joan Collins was a “contract player” for Fox, and appeared in many Fox movies around that time.)

Mayor Hamilton's intercom buzzed.

"A Mrs. Hoffa to see you, Mr. Mayor."

"Good," Mayor Hamilton replied. "Send her in."

The mayor was surprised, to say the least, at the woman's attire. Angela Hoffa entered the office, clad in a tight white slip that perfectly accentuated her form, drawing attention to both her perfectly-rounded breasts, which fit quite snugly in the undergarment, as well as her gorgeous thighs that peeked out from beneath the slip.

As the sultry brunette sauntered over to his desk, the mayor couldn't help but wonder why his secretary hadn't alerted him to his visitor's odd choice of clothing.

"I could have you arrested for indecent exposure, young lady. Do you know that?" he bellowed as he rose from his seat to greet her.

"But, Mr. Mayor," she said, flashing her intense green eyes, "it's so hot in here. And I suspect it's about to get a lot hotter. And besides, you said you wanted to see me. What's wrong with getting such a pleasant view?"

As angry as he was, the small-town mayor’s instincts as a career politician took over. He didn't want to cause a scene. As always, he preferred to seek some kind of compromise.

"Let's get down to business, shall we? Please, take a seat."

"Of course, Mr. Mayor," Angela said as she sat down. "I can't imagine why you've asked me to come here. I can't believe any of the good citizens of Putnam's Landing would have a problem with little old me."

"Well, I know of at least two," Hamilton said as he sat down behind his desk. "Mrs. Van Horn and her daughter have accused you of liquidating all the assets of Mr. Van Horn, one of our most prominent and wealthiest citizens."

The temptress rolled her eyes and sighed as Hamilton continued.

"They also claimed that they reported this theft, this extortion, to Chief of Police Stafford, and he did absolutely nothing about it. Do you have an explanation for any of this?"

Angela rose from her seat and took another one, this time on the front of the mayor's desk.

"Mr. Mayor," she began, looking him squarely in the eyes, "should I be faulted for a man's generosity toward me? Mr. Van Horn willingly gave me his property, stocks, bonds and ready cash. There was no physical force or weapon compelling him to do so. He did it merely to please me.

"Thus, it's no wonder that Constable Stafford saw things my way."

By the time she had finished that last sentence, the British temptress was stroking the mayor's face.

"And that's another thing," the mayor said, trying desperately to remain unfazed by the beautiful woman inches away from him. "You just called our Chief of Police a constable. Obviously, that and your accent tell me that you are an English national. Do you even have American citizenship?"

Angela bounded off the desk and retrieved a silver purse. "Oh, I have my citizenship papers right in here, Your Honor. But first, I think the air in here is rahthah stale," she said, as her accent became stronger. She pulled a perfume atomizer out of her handbag.

"What is that?"

"Oh, just something to change the atmosphere in here."

She walked back toward the elected official and sprayed the atomizer twice in his face. His head rocked back and forth slowly as he breathed deeply, taking in as much of the pleasing fragrance as he could.

"That's exquisite," he said as a wide smile took over his face. "What is it called?"

"Oh, nothing really," Angela said, as she put the atomizer back in her purse. "It's merely my own pheromones combined with some fragrance. I call it . . . ‘Domination.’"

"That's a good name for it," the mayor said with a faraway look in his eyes.

Angela again sat on his desk. She stroked his chin and said, "Now, Mr. Mayor, are you ready to do my bidding?"

"Your merest wish is my ultimate command," the mayor said with an awestruck smile.

"Good boy," Angela said as she patted him on the head. "Would you please fetch me your copy of the Putnam's Landing charter? I think a few revisions are in order. . ."

"Whatever you desire."
