A Farewell To Arms Ernest Hemmingway
Discuss This Book--The character's life in this novel folloows closely to that of Earnest Hemmingway himself... The character is an American in the Itallian Army. He is serving as an ambulance driver, and is accidentally wounded during a battle. An English nurse that he met previous to the accident ends up caring for him in his strugle to regain full health. At the end of this book, The character seems to lose all that he ever had, but in a sense gains what he never had before: life experience. It is written in a very simplistic style, so this book is for anyone that likes easy reading.
