Treasure Island Robert Lewis Stevenson
Discuss This Book

--Treasure Island is a fast moving narratiive of a single adventure of a kid named Jim Hawkins. He sticks to the story very well, and doesn't dwell on unnecessary details. Very early in the story, the reader is introduced to the "Captain"... a brute drunk; obviously a sailor. The Captain is crude, but fun.

Once they reach Treasure Island, the killing and the hunting begins. near the end, its hard to know who to trust... but the words of the "Captain" at the beginning ring true to the end: "beware of the one legged sailor"--Long John Silver. The book is easy reading, and very enjoyable.
