Submission Guidelines

To facilitate and speed up the inclusion of your link in Free Web, please include, along with the URL, a description containing clear indication of what can be borrowed for free from that URL.

You may suggest one or more categories for your link. This may be either a top level catehory, or a subcategory to another category, which might be expressed using the slash as level separator:

        top level / level 1 category / level 2 category

Only two sublevels are acceptable, following the policy of the three-click access to any resource.

You may submit links to:

  • useful resources (software, images, multimedia etc.);
  • online texts (including free online journals);
  • educational matters;
  • reference data;
  • large collections of links to free resources.

You should not submit links to:

  • sites containing no free stuff;
  • advertising sites, with a few free samples aiming to persuade the visitor to buy something;
  • rapidly changing sites, providing no permanent access to resources;
  • mailing lists or newsgroups;
  • the sites with political propaganda;
  • the sites of offending nature (extremism, pornography etc.);
  • sites of a personal character.
