The Choir
The University of North Florida Concert Choir is part of the University's Department of Music, which is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music.  The Concert Choir was founded in 1995 by Dr. Merrill J. Palmer, and has an enrollment of over sixty members.  The program expanded in the Fall 1997 semester to include another group, the UNF chamber Singers, also under the direction of Dr. Palmer.  This group consists of about sixteen members regularly, and specializes in choral works suitable for more intimate settings.  Both ensembles are composed of students from a variety of disciplines, representing every college in the university.  Many students are not Music majors, most are not vocal music majors.  Both choirs rehearse twice weekly on the UNF campus.  The Touring Choir of the UNF Concert Choir consists of current students and choir alumni.  Participating alumni are included on the list below.

The Photo Pages
Since the fall semester began, I took over resposibility for the Concert Choir's official website, so I have been neglecting my duties on this page.  I am still slowly posting some our photos and tales of our travels from the trip, listed below.  The photos on these photo pages have been taken by both of us, although we may get more pictures from friends later in the future. You can also visit the official UNF Choral Department website, which has more photos & highlights from the European Tour as well as information about more recent activites.  It's quite impressive if I say so myself.  The address is www.unf.edu/groups/choir.  Just be sure to come back here and finish looking around!
