Pub quiz night started out as a trivia contest, with teams ranging from one to a theoretical limit of six or seven members. The powers that be, however, ran out of trivia questions (Who was pitching when Roger Maris hit his 61st home run?) so it has become sort of a PhD comprehensive exam: How long is the term of office of the President of France? Who are the members of the European Common Market, and what are their traditional units of currency?
Robert and Ted, warming up
Amy, an Irish bar maid from Georgia, and Paris Wilcox, coming to play
Jerry, the quizmaster, who really gets into the sponsor's product.
The victors, or maybe the usual suspects: Paris, Pat, Robert, Ted, and Bill, with Brendan McGonagle in the foreground.
