Here is a note (and attached pictures) I received from Charlene Westcott:

Dear Bruce--- Here are the pictures of my father's ship, the USS Warrington. My father was Edward D. Ledin, Boatswain's Mate. He was in the Pacific theater during World War II.

The USS Warrington was photographed in Copenhagen, Denmark in port dated on the back July 7, 1946. I have been told by my mother that my father was picked up in Boston on a brand new USS Warrington in 1945.

The file labelled Venice is a picture of the USS Warington is the center of post card featuring some famous places in Venice. Also I have in my possession a picture of my father on a ship but I do not know what ship it is.

The USS Houston is also in port at Copenhagen Denmark also July 7, 1946. This picture was also in the pile of old photos.

The photos are old and cracked. We have done some retouching using Microsoft Photo Project, but you may want to further doctor these photos. I have tried my best.

Yours truly, Charlene Westcott
