Story: |
This is my shortest time from conception to actually making the costume. I suppose I could beat it with a more instant cosplay, but one day I was just talking to Phavochan since they were going to wear Yang and Yun, but the only Capcom costumes I had were Jin and Strider, which don't go that well. So I decided to pick a Streetfighter character and it was Rolento. Both Baby Neko Twins approved and I was at Joann's the next day and started sewing and painting all the stuff together. I finished at 3 AM on 11/23/01 the shirt, and I believe that was the toughest part of the costume. The collar stays up by itself without interfacing. I can't twirl the baton like he does in the game. And on 11/22/01 I had a Streetfighter Alpha 2 marathon on my PSX to try and remember the moves for Rolento and study the costume. All in all, pretty quick turn around time for this costume. |
