Trunks Sword! 2. Super Saiyan! 3. Improved Boot design Drawbacks: 1. Not very conspicuous 2. Boots were a pain to manuever in 3. Super Saiyan Hair very bulky 4. Super Saiyan Hair very fragile and hot Story: Version 1.0: Trunks' Sword and Sheath came first, since I thought it was cool, I just had to have one. So after hours and hours of studying the sword from DBZ movies and episodes, I managed to draft, construct and paint it. It was intentionally designed to be a nice decoration to the fireplace, but with Halloween just around the corner, I decided to gather the materials and make the costume to go with the sword. Purple eyebrows were required for the complete effect, but boy do they hurt when they come off! Version 1.5: After Halloween, I noted that there were some issues with the current design, and for Anime Expo, I would need to make modifications to the belt and the boots especially. The boots were made more mobile, and more accurate. At that time, I figured, why do a Saiyajin without the crazy spiky Saiyajin hair? Of course, that would require Super Saiyajin mode since Trunks has regular lavender hair otherwise. I also noticed that Trunks has his own special pose when charging up for Super Saiyajin, so I incorporated that into the skit at AX98.
