Crockpot Chicken with Noodles
2 fryers, cut up & skinned
1 bottle of beer
1 small jar pimento olives, drained and sliced thin
1 can tomato soup
1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp sugar
1/2 green pepper, diced
1 large onion, diced
1 pound egg noodles
1 tsp salt & pepper
In a crockpot, mix all ingredients, except chicken & noodles
Put in chicken, making sure all the chicken is covered with sauce, or mix in the sauce
Cook in a large crockpot on low heat for 8 hours, or on high for 6 hours
At the end of cooking time, cook noodles according to package directions
Drain
Remove chicken from pot carefully (chicken is very tender and tends to fall of the bones)
Place on serving platter
Thicken sauce in crockpot
Toss in drained egg noodles
Serve hot
Sprinkle grated parmesan or romano cheese on top if desired
