Lightly grease bottom & sides of large crockpot.
Peel or leave (scrubbed) skins on potatoes. Cut once in half lengthwise, then once across the width. Make one layer across the bottom of the crockpot. Place chops on top. Sprinkle soup mix over chops.
Mix the mushroom soup with the water & spread over the chops, do not stir.
Cook on HIGH for 1 hour, turn to low & cook for another 7 hours.
