- 1 beef roast cut into cubes
- 1/2 head chopped green cabbage
- 4 carrots chopped
- 5-6 chopped potatoes (peeled)
- 1 large onion chopped
- 1/2 can diced tomatoes with juice
- 1/2 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
- 1 pkg. brown gravy mix
- 1 clove garlic minced
- pinch of each, garlic powder, Mrs. Dash, pepper, basil
Cook on high 2 hours
Reduce heat to low and cook overnight
Before serving add 2 tbsp butter and 1 tsp salt. If
broth gets low add tomato juice or brown gravy.
Serve with cornbread
